The LBR Foundation is the international non-profit, philanthropic arm of the LBR Group in the United Kingdom. Since 2008, the foundation has been supporting communities across the globe with a focus to improve the quality of life of children.
LBR Foundation started working in Sri Lanka, in 2009, following the end of the thirty year civil war, supporting rehabilitation and development programmes in North and Eastern provinces through implementing partners.
Our mission is to have a sustainable impact on the quality of life of vulnerable and displaced children by improving their access to food, shelter, education, health and safe water.
We aspire to be a leader in the fight against child poverty. We invest resources where they are required and where they will bring lasting change in the lives of vulnerable communities. We are committed to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Sustainable Development Goals.
We design and implement projects in partnership with agencies such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), national governments and development organisations.
